Easy Hot Honey Wings

Easy Hot Honey Wings

Whenever I begin curating a menu for guests, I always opt for recipes that can be popped in the oven, and don’t require much prep once guests have arrived. These baked wings are crispy, delicious and pack a sweet and spicy flavor that will instantly become a crowd favorite. With football season and the holidays already upon us, your guests are sure to enjoy these Easy Hot Honey Chicken Wings. As an added bonus, they are also naturally Gluten and Dairy Free.

Hot Honey

If you haven’t had hot honey before, it’s a traditional honey, that is infused with chilies that lend a sweet heat to everything that you drizzle it on. It tastes delicious on almost everything. You can drizzle it on biscuits, cornbread, pizza, chicken & even popcorn for a sweet, savory and spicy flavor. While I do love Mike’s Hot Honey, as an already made option, my grocery store didn’t carry it. As I needed hot honey in my life I went on a mission to re-create the flavors, with ingredients that I already had on hand and it worked! It also ended up being far more affordable making it myself. You can always try this recipe with your preferred Honey, or brand of Chili flakes, and tweak it to your desired level of heat. My recipe ends up being a medium level heat.

Baked Chicken Wings

I love wings, but after spending so much money ordering them for delivery, and opening the Styrofoam container that had filled with water droplets, leaving you with expensive soggy wings, I needed something else. Making your own Chicken Wings is a very affordable recipe that is filling, easy to eat, and is already pre-portioned to make serving guests a breeze. I love baking up a large batch of wings for parties. As all of the wings are roasted plain, I enjoy the option of splitting up the batch and tossing them in a few different flavors. Besides Hot Honey, some of my other go-to flavors include Buffalo, BBQ & Garlic Parm.
